His/her father was deceased when his/her mother embarked for America with her 4 children; little before the arrival boat to Gross-Island, it and its young girl died and were buried in orphan Gross-Island leaving David and his 2 little brothers Andrew and Patrick; Andrew was placed in a family of New York, Patrick in one of Quebec and David in the family of John Marmen de Saint-Octave-de-Métis. Father of the line Noble O' Reilly of America. Marry Elizabeth Noble in Saint-Octave-de-Métis in 1861; of this union are resulting Mary Ann (bride with Jean-Baptist Côté), Marguerite (bride with John Doucet), Isabella, Agnes (bride with Frank O' Brian), Elizabeth (bride with Joseph Melanson), Walter Patrick, John Albert (priest eudist), Walter Ernest (groom in Annie Rogers) and Wilfrid (groom with Lily McCarty). In 1880, after having sold its ground to Lord Mount Stephen, it leaves Causapscal to reside at Londonderry, then in Amqui.
